We Talk

You don’t have to prepare anything. You don’t have to write anything. You don’t have to “answer prompts” or talk to a device.

You and I simply talk on the phone — like two human beings. You tell me what you’d like your book to include, and I listen carefully.

Whether it’s ten minutes or an hour, every conversation becomes part of your legacy.

I Create Your Book Plan

After our first call, I take everything you told me and shape it into a simple plan:

the chapters your book might include
the stories you want to preserve
the photos you want to add
the themes that matter most to you

I send this plan to you within a few days. You approve it, adjust it, or add to it. We move at your pace. There's no rush.

We Record Your Stories

We’ll schedule a few phone calls over the next days or weeks. I can provide up to four hours of interviews for free.

With your permission, I record each conversation. That’s all the “work” you have to do.

You talk. I listen. Your stories unfold naturally — no pressure, no scripts.

I Turn Your Words Into Chapters

After each call, I take the transcript of what you said and shape it into polished, readable chapters.

I don’t rewrite your life. I don’t change your voice. I don’t add things you didn’t say.

I simply make your words clear, warm, and easy to read — while keeping your authentic voice intact.

This all gets done with my custom-built system I call Voice-To-Print.™ It's built to make sure your grandkids would read your words, and they would match the real you, not a rewritten version of you.

I Clean Up The Audio

I separate our voices in post‑production so my voice disappears. Your grandchildren will hear only you telling your stories.

You Gather Up To 20 Photos

You can email them to me or mail them in an envelope. I’ll scan them, crop or enlarge them as needed, and place them beautifully in your book.

If you want more than 20 photos, that’s part of custom digital legacy work — quoted individually.

If the photos are in rough shape, and you want them digitally restored, that's also custom work.

I Build Your Book

I assemble everything:

your chapters
your photos
your audio QR codes
your title page
your dedication
your table of contents
your layout
your color formatting

You receive a publishable PDF book — ready to share with your family.

I Archive Your Book & Audio

I upload your digital book and audio files to the Internet Archive, where they will be preserved permanently. The archive is as close to digital "forever" as you can get. Read more.

I Create a Free & Private Web Page

I also create a flipbook on your own private web page so your family can read your book online. Take a look at Avis's page (she gave me permission to share it).
